We’ve been Wagged.

March 28, 2007

Well, we’re flattered to make the cut of BusinessWeek tech startups to watch, (http://businessweek.com/tech_entrepreneurs/) especially while we’re trying hard to keep quiet and keep our heads down at the office. But there was one error needing correction: Advanced Technology Ventures is not an investor in Adroll. We asked BW to fix this.

How this came about: they asked during a phone interview if we were funded, and if so, if by ATV. We said: haven’t made ay announcements on that topic yet, and wouldn’t confirm or deny anything. So, for the record, there’s no connection/relationship.

Not exclusive. Period.

We’ve released our software to a select group of publishers. (Want to be one? Sign up) They’re seeing firsthand how Adroll offers a chance to earn even more than they’re currently earning. While it’s great to see this work, it causes a bit of stress (for me at least)…we want to open this up to more publishers and advertisers. Testing, refining, testing.

So, we were asked: why to use Adroll exclusively. Our answer is: Don’t. Use the best ad network for your site, and your content. That’s an important part of what makes us different. We want to encourage more interaction between publishers and advertisers… to that extent, here’s a list of ad networks that John Chow compiled. Maybe one of these will be good for you…

If you feel like it, drop us a line to tell us what ad network does best for you.

Now we’re rolling!

Welcome to the Adroll Blog. This is our first post. We’re using WordPress.com for our blog. It was simple to get started, and so far we like it. Alot.

If you have a blog, Adroll works regardless of which blog host or blog editor you use. Maybe we’ll put up a compatibility list, for anyone interested…
